Yves Quaglio (the builder)
The man behind the name. Yves completed his initial design training in architecture at the L’ecole des Beaux Arts in France. After moving to Australia, Yves went on to establish Yves Quaglio Building in 1994; a forerunner in providing energy efficient homes in Australia. Yves has been the recipient of awards for many of the homes he has designed and built. His reputation in the local community is now being realised with a number of repeat customers. Yves is the Captain of the local Fire Brigade, loves sailing and is an avid bicyclist.
André Quaglio (the architect)
Growing up on building sites with his father, André gained extensive trade experience in the design and construction of complex residential projects. After high school, he continued to work in the family business full-time before moving to Canberra to obtain degrees in Architecture and Environmental Design. He has spent the past 8 years with the CSIRO as an Architect and Project Manager delivering world-class scientific research facilities around Australia.
In 2015, André returned to Yackandandah and Yves Quaglio Building with his unique skill set to further his passion for sustainable building and design. André enjoys running, fishing and riding his bicycle in the outdoors.
Alicia Quaglio (the business manager)
Alicia’s care and attention to detail have been a foundation for her career as a a professional manager for the past 14 years. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and a Certificate III in Financial Services, Alicia has a diverse range of skills and experience to get the job done efficiently and effectively. In her free time, Alicia enjoys aerial acrobatics, massage and spending time with family and friends eating delicious food.
